16 Year Old Grown MAN

Earlier today, I wrote an article on 2021 prospect Geno VanDeMark, a four star offensive guard from Montvale, New Jersey.  Audric Estime, a four star running back in the 2021 class, also happens to be from Montvale and was teammates with VanDeMark.

Estime is only 16 years old and is a grown ass man.  Yesterday, Estime posted a picture of himself during a workout and it’s difficult to determine if he’s a 16 year old young man or a 30 year old NFL running back in the prime of his career.

Estime holds offers from 15 schools currently, including Duke, Rutgers, Virginia, Texas A&M, Temple, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Maryland, Louisville, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Virginia Tech and West Virginia University.  However, Estime has reportedly narrowed his choices to Arizona State, Virginia Tech, Rutgers (hometown school) and West Virginia.

Brian Dohn, a recruiting analyst for 247 Sports, compares Estime favorably to Jordan Howard, a running back for the Philadelphia Eagles: “Big body and muscular frame. Can easily play at 225 pounds once body matures. Strong and physical runner. Gets to hole quickly and accelerates through it. Downhill runner with cut-back ability. Good vision. Comfortable running between tackles. Does not go down easy on first contact. Falls forward. North-south runner and does not waste time dancing. Asset catching ball out of backfield. Needs to show elusiveness in the backfield. Has to run with lower pad level and work on stop-start ability. Adding hip flexibility will help with elusiveness. Multi-year starter at Top 15 program. Day 3 NFL draft potential.”

Although he’s only 16 years old and his recruiting process at only just started, Audric Estime has been on campus in Morgantown and formed a relationship with his lead recruiters, Travis Trickett and Chad Scott, two of the best in the business.  Estime is a physical specimen that could lead the Mountaineer running attack for years to come.  It would also be nice if he brings his teammate Geno VanDeMark with him home to Morgantown!
