Morgantown, West Virginia – Redshirt sophomore cornerback Daryl Porter, Jr., who recently announced that he’s left the West Virginia Mountaineers football program and entered the transfer portal, has found his new home.

Porter announced that he has committed to play for the Miami Hurricanes.

Porter is from the Miami area and former West Virginia defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach Jahmile Addae is the new defensive backs coach for the Hurricanes.

Porter, a cornerback from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, had 40 tackles and 1 interception for the Mountaineers this past season.
