Not saying he could do that with Garrett Greene, but stranger things have been done with lightning in a bottle.

Much of what has held back Greene at WVU is the lack of an offensive scheme for him. Neal Brown’s offenses just aren’t built for scrambling quarterbacks nor has he shown the ability to adapt. Rodriguez, on the other hand, would give Greene all of the chance in the world to do something with his legs.

That’s all Greene needs is a chance, and Rodriguez would certainly give him that. He size hinders him from having a lot of success in an air raid system. Bringing a spread-type look back to Morgantown would be a much more friendlier system for Greene.

Do I think this will happen? Probably not. However, you know some of the big donors and those around the university are licking their chops at this possibility. We certainly can’t be the only ones who can see the potential here. Rich Rodriguez and Garrett Greene could be the next perfect pair at WVU.
