Alonzo Addae had himself a day on Saturday. Not only did he finish second on the team in tackles (7), but he also had a phenomenal interception that made Sportscenter’s Top 10.
Now, Alonzo Addae has joined quarterback Jarret Doege as one of the highest graded players in week two.
Highest-graded defensive backs from Wk 2 of College Football:
1. Alonzo Addae, WVU – 93.2
2. Josh Thompson, Texas – 92.2
3. Marquel Broughton, Army – 91.1
4. Shemar Jean-Charles, App St – 90.9
5. Paris Ford, Pittsburgh – 89.6 pic.twitter.com/f8RqIP9yIF— PFF College (@PFF_College) September 14, 2020
According to Pro Football Focus, Addae finished with a 93.2 score for his performance against Eastern Kentucky. That was good enough for tops in the nation among defensive backs in week two.
Though it was against an outmanned Colonels squad, Addae has already shown flashes and could potentially be one of the best defensive backs in the Big 12 this season.
