Amir Leonard-Jean Charles Commits to West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Moments ago, the future of the West Virginia Mountaineers defense got a lot brighter when AMIR LEONARD-JEAN CHARLES announced his commitment to play at WVU!

Charles, a 6’4 280 pound defensive lineman from Nashville, Tennessee, is a four star recruit according to Rivals the #14 overall ranked player in the state in the 2025 classs.

Charles picked the Mountaineers over an incredible list of offers from top programs in the country such as Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Michigan and Tennessee, among several others.

Zah Jackson – 5’10, 180 pound three star cornerback from Huntington, West Virginia

Scotty Fox – 6’2, 210 pound three star quarterback from Mentor, Ohio

Jackson Accuardl – 6’7, 220 pound three star tight end from De Forest, Wisconsin

Eldan Bucannan – 6’8, 300 pound three star offensive lineman from Olney, Maryland

Tyshawn Dues – 5’10, 170 pound three star wide receiver from Hurricane, West Virginia
