Morgantown, West Virginia – Former Pitt star and current Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin went into collapsed and went into cardiac arrest on the field this past Monday on Monday Night Football during the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals game. He has remained in critical care.
Last night, according to family members, Hamlin started to show incredible signs of progress! He was able to open his eyes last night and has been responsive. In addition, he is able to grip the hands of those close to him!
This is very positive news for Hamlin and it appears that although he is far from out of the woods yet, he is on his way to recovery!
Damar Hamlin has been gripping the hands of those close to him. Another very positive sign. https://t.co/GpabbnqTWm
