Charleston, West Virginia – Best Virginia battled back from seven points down at half to come back in the second half, but was ultimately defeated by Team 23 in the third round of the TBT, 75-67 in the Elam Ending.
Best Virginia was led by outstanding performances from Kevin Jones, who finished with 14 points, and John Flowers, who had 11 points and 4 rebounds. Nathan Adrian had 12 points and 6 rebounds, and Tarik Phillip added 8 points.
TBT is a single-elimination tournament, so Best Virginia’s season is officially over. However, the crowds in Charleston were spectacular all week and Best Virginia will absolutely be back and better than ever next summer!
