Moments ago, The Basketball Tournament (TBT) revealed its brackets for the upcoming tournament and Best Virginia, the West Virginia alumni team, is ranked #10 out of 24 teams and will play the Marshall Alumni team called “Herd That” in the 1st round. Teams ranked 1-8 will receive a bye, so this is one of the best possible first round matchups for Best Virginia.
The Basketball Tournament, a $1 million dollar winner-takes-all tournament, will play from July 4th through July 14th in Columbus Ohio, and features several outstanding teams from around the world. Best Virginia’s roster is stacked with former Mountaineers, including Kevin Jones, Da’Sean Butler, John Flowers, Nathan Adrian, Jonathan Holton, Daxter Miles, Jr., Jaysean Paige, Tarik Phillip, Juwan Staten and Logan Routt.
TBT will have all of its games televised live on ESPN and is a great opportunity to see former Mountaineers competing for our great state and a $1 million grand prize.
