Big 12 in Discussions About Adding Team

Morgantown, West Virginia – According to a report from The Athletic, the Big 12 is “seriously discussing” adding BYU to the conference!

Although very early in the discussions, the Big 12 Conference reportedly considers BYU a top replacement for Oklahoma and Texas, who have both decided to leave for the SEC.

BYU is an obvious choice if/when the conference decides to expand.  BYU has a tremendous fanbase, which routinely packs its 64,000 seat stadium, and the Cougars have been successful for many years in football.

In addition to BYU, the Big 12 will likely pursue programs like UCF, Cincinnati, Boise State, UCF and Houston in an attempt to keep the conference together.
