
Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, the 2022-2023 preseason football poll was released and the West Virginia Mountaineers ranked near the bottom of the list.
West Virginia, who finished 6-7 last season in Neal Brown’s 3rd year with the team, has been picked to finish 8th out of ten teams in the league.
The league picked Baylor to finish in 1st place, followed by Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Kansas State, Iowa State, TCU, West Virginia, Texas Tech and Kansas.
The Mountaineers open their season on September 1st in the Backyard Brawl against hated rivals the Pitt Panthers.
