With the Big Ten and Pac-12 planning on playing a conference-only schedule in 2020, many expect the rest of the Power 5 teams to follow suit. However, it will be a couple of weeks before we know for sure what the Big 12 and ACC decides.

According to ESPN, the two conferences will wait until “late July” to make a definitive decision as to how they will move forward with fall sports.

Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby stated that there are “multiple models” that the conference can use. The ACC is expected to make the decision, and for the Big 12 to follow suit.

WVU’s schedule has already been affected with the cancellation of the contest against the Maryland Terrapins due to the Big Ten playing a conference-only schedule.
