Morgantown, West Virginia – For 41 seasons, Billy Hahn was a basketball coach. Now, after 5 years of retirement, Hahn is ready to get back on the sidelines.
Hahn, 69, was a head coach at Ohio, an assistant at Maryland and a head coach at La Salle before becoming an assistant under Bob Huggins at West Virginia in 2007. Hahn was Huggins’ right hand man until 2017 when he retired from coaching.
However, according to Dick Weiss, Hahn wants to return to the game. “My guy Billy Hahn looking to get back in the game as a staffer for a Division 1 program. A true basketball lifer with a lot of contacts and recruiting success at every level.”

Hahn still lives in the Morgantown area. Could he possibly reunite with Huggins and the Mountaineers following this season?
