MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Bob Huggins is threatening to sue West Virginia University if he is not reinstated as the head coach of the Mountaineers, according to Hoppy Kercheval. Â
Huggins, 69, was reportedly forced to resign following his DUI arrest in Pittsburgh. However, it appears that Huggins does not feel that he resigned and wants to be the head coach again.
According to his attorney, Huggins voluntarily entered rehab. “To demonstrate his commitment to the WVU basketball program, he took the step of entering the program on a voluntary nature.”
His attorney continued: “Coach Huggins will be released from the program soon and we will provide you with a full release for Coach Huggins to return to his active duties as Head Coach at WVU.”
