Bob Huggins Meeting with Former Kentucky Player at Lexington Steakhouse

Morgantown, West Virginia – Bob Huggins said he would fix it and tonight, he’s pulling out all the stops to land one of the most talented players in the transfer portal.

Dontaie Allen, a 6’6 guard from Falmouth, Kentucky, recently entered the transfer portal after playing two seasons with the Kentucky Wildcats. Allen, who saw his playing time drop dramatically this past season, only averaged 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds per game, but he was a four star recruit out of high school and has two full years of eligibility remaining.

Tonight, Allen has been spotted at a Lexington, Kentucky steakhouse with none other than Bob Huggins! According to Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio, he has received texts from approximately 20 people confirming that Huggins and Allen are dining together this evening.

Although Allen struggled to find playing time on a talent-rich team like Kentucky last season, he would instantly be the go-to scorer for the rebuilding Mountaineers. This could be a huge get for Bob Huggins and the West Virginia Mountaineers basketball program!
