Bob Huggins Reveals He Tested Positive for COVID

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, West Virginia Head Coach Bob Huggins revealed on his first episode of “The Bob Huggins Show” of the season that he tested positive for COVID-19.

West Virginia announcer Tony Caridi asked Huggins about the start of the season and if the season should start on time.  Huggins replied, “Yes, it’s not going to get any better.  If we get a vaccine, we might not be able to get it out to everybody.  Who knows, but I don’t think it will get any better.”

Huggins continued, “I tested positive and had no symptoms at all.  My wife had it and had no symptoms either.”

Caridi asked, “So what did you do?”  Huggins replied, “I sat at home for 10 days because I had to, but I wouldn’t have even known I had it if they didn’t tell me I did.”

Huggins said that the positive test was “over a month ago.”  This was the first time that Huggins admitted publicly that he tested positive for COVID.  Huggins, 67, is completely recovered and feeling 100% now.
