Bob Huggins to Enter Diversion Program

Former WVU Head Coach Bob Huggins is set to participate in a 12-month diversion program, according to ESPN. 

Morgantown, WV – According to ESPN, former WVU Head Coach Bob Huggins is set to participate in a 12-month diversion program, as part of his arrest for drunk driving in June.

Huggins, who resigned after the incident, will also have the opportunity to reduce his one-year probation to six months pending successful completion of his alcohol treatment program. The outlet also reports that Huggins’ original arraignment date for the arrest was canceled due to his acceptance into the alcohol treatment program.

There has been no word on if Huggins wants to coach again in the future.
