Earlier this morning, WVU Kicker Evan Staley announced via Twitter that he is officially out for the season.

According to Staley, he will have surgery next week after injuring his knee on a kickoff against Kansas State on Saturday.

He would conclude his statement by saying that he will “be counting down the days until he is back on the field,” and that he wishes his “teammates and coaches the best of luck the rest of the season.”
