
Up until today, every FBS conference was putting plans into place to have a College Football season this fall. That was until this morning when the Mid-American Conference (MAC) canceled all hope that their schools may participate in the upcoming fall season.

According to Brett McMurphy of Stadium, the conference canceled fall football season, but will try to play this spring. Reasoning behind the cancellation was due to the financial hit the conference took when the Power 5 conferences canceled non-conference games.

McMurphy would also report the potential domino effect this would have throughout College Football — quoting one Group of 5 Athletic Director. This director would state that this decision would make presidents even more “nervous” to proceed with a fall season in an already “nerve-racking” environment.
