BREAKING: Garrett Greene “Expected” to Start Against TCU

WVU Quarterback Garrett Greene is expected to start against TCU.

Morgantown, WV – After missing most of the Pitt game and the Texas Tech game with an ankle injury, WVU Quarterback Garrett Greene is expected to start at TCU on Saturday, according to Brett McMurphy of Action Network.

Greene, who won the starting job in fall camp, was injured during the second drive of WVU’s 17-6 victory over Pitt. Despite being available against Texas Tech, he did not see the field in favor of Nicco Marchiol, who threw for 78 yards and ran for 72.

WVU and TCU kickoff at 8 p.m. tomorrow. The game is set to broadcast on ESPN2.
