BREAKING: Kansas Player Suspended

Silvio De Sousa, the Kansas Jayhawks Freshman Forward, who was the instigator of the massive brawl that took place in last night’s Kansas Kansas State game, has been suspended “indefinitely.”

De Sousa blocked a shot in the closing seconds of the game and then stood over DaJuan Gordon and taunted him.  This led to a bench-clearing brawl and De Sousa threw punches in the altercation.  He also picked up a stool and looked like he was going to swing it before putting it down.

Bill Self announced the suspension today, saying, “I have suspended Silvio De Sousa indefinitely pending the final outcome of the review by KU and the Big 12 Conference.  As I said last night, we are disappointed in his actions and there is no place in the game for that behavior.”
