On Tuesday morning, it was announced via ESPN that Baylor’s Head Football Coach Matt Rhule would be accepting the head coaching job for the Carolina Panthers. Rhule replaces Ron Rivera who spent nearly a decade with the organization.

Matt Rhule spent three seasons at Baylor, finishing with a 19-20 record. In that three-year span, Rhule took Baylor from 1-11 in 2017 to 11-3 in 2019. Baylor will begin their search for their next head coach.
