BREAKING: Mountaineers are NOT wearing BLM Stickers on Helmets

Morgantown, West Virginia – When the West Virginia Mountaineers took the field for the first time this season to take on the Eastern Kentucky Colonels, they are NOT wearing Black Lives Matter decals on their helmets, despite reports that they would.

Instead, the Mountaineers are wearing “UNITY” stickers to promote racial equality.  As you know, the “BLM” decals were a major source of contention for the West Virginia fanbase, with fans threatening to no longer support the team.

Perhaps this is what caused the Mountaineers to decide to go to a less controversial decal.  Stay tuned to The Voice of Motown for more information as it becomes available!
