Following the Big 12’s schedule announcement on Monday, everyone’s eyes then turned to see what the NCAA would decide regarding fall championships on Tuesday.
Many expected the Board of Governors could potentially decide to cancel championships as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic — but that would not be the case.
NCAA Board of Governors, which consists of reps from Divisions I-III, did not vote on fall sports championships, sources told @Stadium. Instead each Division will decide if & how to proceed with fall sports, sources told @Stadium, because of drastic differences between Divisions

According to Brett McMurphy of Stadium, the NCAA decided not to vote on the cancellation of fall sports. Each division will instead be given the opportunity to choose how they proceed forward with their fall competitions.
This is huge news for potentially having FBS football in fall because Division I schools have more resources – & more at stake – to try and play fall sports than Division II & III schools, sources told @Stadium https://t.co/A19VO8G2oJ

McMurphy would also point out in a tweet that not all conferences have the same at stake. Division II and Division III do not have the resources as Division I, meaning that if the prior two may cancel, this will not have any affect on the FCS or FBS.
It is looking like we will have football in Morgantown next month — stay tuned to The Voice of Motown for updates.
