BREAKING: Neal Brown Names Starting Quarterback for TCU Game

Morgantown, West Virginia – Neal Brown promised that “anything is one the table” in terms of changes for his football team after three consecutive losses, but today, West Virginia released the updated depth chart for the TCU game this Saturday and perhaps the most important, anticipated change of all didn’t happen.

Redshirt senior Jarret Doege is still, remarkably, listed as the starting quarterback for the Mountaineers.  Doege is 118 for 181 passing for 8 touchdowns and 5 interceptions and a Big 12 best 1,444 yards this season, but he has been shaky in the pocket and made countless bad decisions and mistakes through six games.

Garrett Greene is still listed as the second string quarterback, despite being far more productive per play during his limited snaps.

Despite Brown’s promise to make changes, no other major changes were made on the official depth chart for the TCU game, which unfortunately means we’ll likely see a lot more of the same from the Mountaineers this weekend.
