BREAKING: Neal Brown Names Starting Quarterback

Moments ago, Head Coach Neal Brown announced on his weekly show that Jarret Doege will be the Mountaineers’ starter when they match up against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels on September 12th.

Doege started the final three games of 2019 — going 2-1 and registered over 800 passing yards and seven touchdowns to three interceptions.

The former Bowling Green transfer had to fend off Austin Kendall, the Oklahoma transfer who started nine games in 2019 for the amount and finishing with a 3-6 record.

WVU-EKU is set for a noon kickoff on Fox Sports 1.
