One of the biggest commits for the Mountaineers in 2023, 4-star receiver Rodney Gallagher, has garnered interest from many major programs.
In a conversation with The Voice of Motown, Gallagher reassured Mountaineer Nation that he plans to stay committed to WVU despite the attention.

Tennessee, who is having an incredible resurgence in 2022, is one of the programs rumored to have interest in Gallagher. Having just beaten Alabama for the first time 2006, and sitting with a top 5 ranking, it would be expected that a program like WVU would feel threatened should they pursue one of their commits. However, this will not sway the talented Gallagher.
Gallagher also told The Voice of Motown that he doesn’t any idea where the rumors about Tennessee started.
According to 247Sports, Gallagher was also offered by Texas, Oregon, and Notre Dame among others.
