After two incredible performances last week against Texas Tech and Oklahoma, WVU junior Sean McNeil has won the Big 12 Player of the Week honors.
WVU’s social media pages made the official announcement moments ago.
Sean McNeil averaged 2⃣3⃣.5⃣ points for @WVUhoops in a 1-1 week against Top 25 opponents. He had a career-high 2⃣6⃣ points in the win at No. 7 Texas Tech and followed that with 2⃣1⃣ points vs. No. 12 Oklahoma.@SeanMcNeil22 is the #Big12MBB Co-Player of the Week. pic.twitter.com/cGlHRUCWKV

He shares the award with Austin Reaves of Oklahoma.
Austin Reaves hit the game-winning shot to lead the @OU_MBBall in a double-overtime thriller on the road at No. 14 West Virginia. He produced 2⃣8⃣ points, 9⃣ rebounds and 7⃣ assists while shooting 5⃣0⃣ percent from the field.

McNeil averaged 23.5 points in the two contests.
