BREAKING: Taz Sherman Warming Up For Tonight’s Game

Morgantown, West Virginia – Senior guard Taz Sherman, who was injured in the final minutes of West Virginia’s 77-81 loss against Baylor last week, suffered a concussion when a Baylor player accidentally hit him in the face.

Sherman missed Saturday’s game against Texas Tech and head coach Bob Huggins didn’t seem to know whether he would play tonight or not.

Huggins said the following: “He’s in the concussion protocol and nobody knows, apparently. There’s nothing we can say definitively. We’re just trying to figure out ways to win without him (Sherman). I thought we had it going pretty well with Sean (McNeil) and Taz, and we’re trying to work with the other guys to figure out how we can get them scoring.”

However, the Mountaineers just took the floor for pregame warmups and Sherman is on the floor with the team, warming up, and it appears that he will play tonight!

West Virginia, 13-9, looks to snap a 7 game losing streak tonight when they play the 16-7 Iowa State Cyclones. The game starts at 7:00PM and will be televised live on ESPN+. Let’s Go Mountaineers!
