BREAKING: West Virginia Lands Four Star Transfer

Morgantown, West Virginia – Erik Stevenson, a 6’4 senior guard who recently transferred from South Carolina, just announced that he is committing to play for the West Virginia Mountaineers!

Stevenson, a four star transfer, averaged 11.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game last season for the Gamecocks. In his one season at South Carolina, Stevenson quickly became the team’s leader and shot an incredible 61-62 from the free throw line, which is an unbelievable 98.4%. Stevenson is also a tough, gritty defensive player and should be a perfect addition as a senior leader for the Mountaineers.

Following his visit to Morgantown, Stevenson told The Voice of Motown the following: “I loved the campus and facilities! It feels like home.”

Now, Stevenson will likely be relied on to come in and immediately start for a rebuilt West Virginia team next season.
