FORT WORTH, Texas — During the second quarter of the West Virginia versus TCU game, star safety Aubrey Burks was hurt during a punt return for the Horned Frogs. Burks appeared to have suffered a head or neck injury making a tackle and had to be carted off the field.
Burks was seen moving his arms and legs, which is very positive news, but the medical staff took all the required precautions and he was taken off the field on a stretcher. Stay tuned to The Voice of Morgantown for more updates on this developing situation as they become available!
In the meantime, prayers to Aubrey Burks and his family during this time!
