Moments ago, the latest AP Top 25 ranking was released for men’s college basketball. After the Mountaineers knocked off TCU (74-66) and Kansas State (65-43) last week, the Old Gold and Blue saw a huge jump in their ranking this week.

 

West Virginia has moved all the way up to #6 in the nation, a four-spot jump from last week’s #10 ranking.

This week, the Mountaineers have a grand opportunity to move way up in the rankings with three home games. Those matchups are as follows…

Tuesday: vs Baylor

Thursday: vs TCU

Saturday: vs Oklahoma State
