According to Chris Low of ESPN, Tennessee has officially opted out of the Liberty Bowl due to COVID-19 issues on the team.
The Mountaineers will now be looking for a new opponent, and it is rumored that 9-2 Army could be an option, as well as Mississippi State possibly moving from the Armed Forces Bowl.
