
Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, the Big 12 Conference announced that the upcoming West Virginia Oklahoma game scheduled for this Saturday has been CANCELLED and will not be re-scheduled. West Virginia is shutting down its football operations for seven days.
According to a press release from the official WVU Sports website, “Due to a surge of positive COVID-19 cases and contact trading within the football program, West Virginia University Director of Athletics Shane Lyons and WVU’s medical officials have paused all football activities, including workouts and games, for the next seven days.”
