Expansion talk has seemingly ramped up with the Pac-12 struggling to garner interest for their broadcast rights. The Big 12 is reported to have interest in at least two of the conference’s schools – Colorado and Arizona.
Yesterday, Colorado Athletic Director Rick George let it be known that any rumors about the Buffaloes leaving the Pac-12 are false.

MHver3, a very well-known Twitter account among WVU fans, shared that they had sources stating that the “Colorado board may vote on leaving the Pac-12 as early as Monday.” Obviously unhappy with the claim, George quoted the tweet saying “there is absolutely no truth to this tweet.”
Which side is correct in their statement has yet to be determined. However, we would not be surprised if news regarding the situation began to surface soon.
