Computer Simulation Predicts Amazing NCAA Tournament Results for West Virginia

Morgantown, West Virginia – The West Virginia Mountaineers are now likely in the NCAA Tournament after upsetting the Iowa State Cyclones last night and according to the first bracket simulation conducted by Evan Miyakawa, the Mountaineers are going to do some major damage during March Madness!

Miyakawa, a college basketball analytics expert, has West Virginia as a #11 seed heading into the tournament, playing #6 Northwestern. West Virginia, according to the simulation, is predicted to win that game.

The Mountaineers would then play #2 Texas, which they are also predicted to upset in the Sweet 16. In the Elite 8, West Virginia is projected to match up against the #4 seeded Indiana Hoosiers. According to the simulation, the Mountaineers will lose to Indiana, sending the Hoosiers to the Final 4.
