CONFIRMED: Starter Doubtful for Maryland Game

Morgantown, West Virginia – On last night’s Neal Brown Show, the West Virginia head coach confirmed that the Mountaineers will likely be without their starting tight end, Mike O’Laughlin, for the season opener at Maryland.

Brown officially listed O’Laughlin as “doubtful.”

O’Laughlin, a redshirt junior, started nine games at tight end last season and finished with 15 catches for 137 yards, a touchdown and a long of 34 yards.

Redshirt junior T.J. Banks will now likely get the start for the Mountaineers tomorrow’s game at Maryland.
