Morgantown, West Virginia – As first pointed out by John Lowe of WYMT, West Virginia University is the only remaining Big 12 program to not congratulate BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and UCF on the four teams joining the Big 12 Conference.
Could be a pointless observation, but #WVU is one of 2 Big 12 schools who have not yet congratulated the four invited schools (BYU, UC, UH, UCF) on any social media platforms.
Sometimes silence speaks volumes…

Since Lowe’s message, all of the seven other remaining programs in the Big 12 have posted congratulatory messages on social media, but West Virginia has been radio silent since the news broke this morning.
Although this could clearly mean nothing at all, it is interesting that the social media team at West Virginia has not reached out to the four new schools like every other program has.

We are excited to add four new members to the @Big12Conference.
This move strengthens an already powerful conference, and will only enhance the perception of our programs here at Texas Tech.#WreckEm https://t.co/uPRW8ofl9J
