Yes, Dan Dakich should have been fired for his recent spat with a college professor on Twitter. However, he is instead one mistake away from being taken off the air.
According to Zach Braziller of New York Post, the former mediocre head coach of Bowling Green admitted on his radio show today that he was “on a short leash” after the altercation, meaning he will be out of a job with one more slip up. But in true annoying Dakich fashion, he did not fully admit his wrong.
Dakich instead insinuated that his words were taken in the wrong context, and that there was a spin of his words from the media. Honestly, would you expect anything else with an ego the size of Indiana?
