Morgantown, West Virginia – Yesterday, Dan Dakich, host of the show “Don’t @ Me with Dan Dakich”, accused Bob Huggins of cheating and said that Huggins did not belong in the Hall of Fame.
Today, Dakich took a shot at the West Virginia basketball program. Dakich, who temporarily replaced Gale Catlett as the head coach of the Mountaineers, quit and resigned from the position after only 8 days on the job.
Dakich has consistently taken jabs at West Virginia University over the years, but today, he suggested that him leaving the program has ruined it.
“Watching hoops thinking how badly me resigning from WVU destroyed that program…Bless their little hearts.”
Dakich was the head coach at Bowling Green from 1997-2007 and was the interim head coach at Indiana in 2008. He accumulated a 159-144 record with only 1 NCAA Tournament appearance (0-1) and two NIT appearances (0-2).
