Houston Head Coach Dana Holgorsen is squarely on the hot seat following a 27-13 loss to UCF.
Houston, TX – It was a tough season for the Houston Cougars. After finishing their first year in the Big 12 Conference with a 4-8 mark overall, and 2-7 in conference play, the rumors are beginning to swirl about a potential coaching change.
Head Coach Dana Holgorsen has been rumored to be on the hot seat, and it now appears that his future is pretty bleak in Space City.
According to Sidelines Houston on X, Holgorsen’s future with the Cougars is “in serious doubt,” and a decision could come “as early as tomorrow.”

Holgorsen just completed his fifth season at Houston, and has compiled a 31-28 record overall.
