Derek Culver Named One of Ten Finalists For Major Award

According to the university, WVU junior center Derek Culver has been named a Top 10 Finalist for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award.

This award goes to the nation’s best center, and the winner will be chosen by a committee later this year.

Luka Garza of Iowa, Evan Mobley of USC, and Charles Bassey of Western Kentucky were among others included on the list.
