Morgantown, West Virginia – Despite the rumors of a potential transfer following the 2022 season, it now appears that WVU Running Back C.J. Donaldson will return in 2023.
This according to Toothman Ford’s Instagram account. Donaldson signed an NIL deal with the car dealership recently and they posted the following message to report the news: “Today we had our new Team Toothman member in the store. Good news Mountaineer Nation, he will be back in the blue and gold next year!”
Donaldson ran for 526 yards and 8 touchdowns on 87 carries in 2022. The Miami, Florida native will easily be WVU’s best returning offensive player in 2023.
