Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, the early betting line for the West Virginia Mountaineers Big 12 Conference opener on Saturday against Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Oklahoma have been released.
Despite the Mountaineers looking impressive in their season opener against Eastern Kentucky and Oklahoma State only beating Tulsa 16-7 their opener, West Virginia is a 6 point underdog to the Cowboys next weekend.
With Jarret Doege under center and an improved running game, the Mountaineers will certainly be able to score more than 7 points against Oklahoma State. West Virginia’s outstanding defensive line should be able to handle the Cowboys’ atrocious offensive line.
In addition, although is generally difficult for opposing teams to win in Stillwater, there will only be 25% attendance allowed for the game and the crowd will not be a factor. Look for the Mountaineers to easily cover this early line.
