West Virginia and Virginia Tech are set to renew their rivalry on September 18th at Mountaineer Field. The two sides last met in 2017, with the Hokies taking the season opener, 31-24, in Will Grier’s WVU debut.
Now, four years removed from this game, the two sides are at separate points in their program. West Virginia is beginning to figure things out under Neal Brown, while the Hokies are looking for answers under Justin Fuente.
South Point Hotel recently revealed their early odds for the marquee games of every week this season. The Mountaineers and Hokies were included.
According to the Odds, WVU has opened as 5-point favorites over the Hokies leading up to their matchup in Morgantown.
