OMorgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, former West Virginia Mountaineers junior Emmitt Matthews, Jr. announced that he’s returning home to play for the Washington Huskies. Matthews is originally from Tacoma, Washington.
Matthews played three seasons for the Mountaineers and averaged 7.8, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game last season. He will have two full years of eligibility remaining for the Huskies.
