MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Former West Virginia Mountaineers guard Erik Stevenson made his professional debut in the NBA Summer League tonight with the San Antonio Spurs and he made an outstanding first impression.
Stevenson came off the bench for the Spurs and finished the game with 13 points (5-9 FG), 3-4 3PT, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in only 17 minutes.
Stevenson is considered a long shot to make the Spurs’ active roster, but if he continues with these kind of performances, he could find himself getting serious NBA consideration.
