When WVU (3-6, 1-5) goes up against Oklahoma (5-4, 2-4) this Saturday in Morgantown, they will be doing so with their backs against the wall. Not only will they be fighting for their bowl lives, but they will be going into the contest with virtually everyone expecting them to lose.

On Sunday, Circa Sports listed the Sooners as 9-point favorites. To go along with the point spread, ESPN’s FPI is also heavily favoring Oklahoma.

The FPI currently favors Oklahoma with a 58.5% chance that the Sooners will emerge victorious. Not only would the win make Oklahoma bowl eligible, but it would also be the program’s 10th-straight win over WVU.

Neal Brown and the Mountaineers will be looking to notch the school’s first win against OU since joining the Big 12 Conference. The matchup is set for a noon kickoff with Fox Sports 1 to broadcast.
