MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Late last night (Saturday), the West Virginia Mountaineers received their second commitment of the 2026 class when JEFFAR JEAN-NOEL announced that he will play for the Mountaineers!

Jean-Noel, a 5’10 180 pound wide receiver from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is considered one of the most underrated offensive players in the 2026 class and has received scholarship offers from his hometown Miami Hurricanes, as well as from Michigan, Kentucky, Washington, Wisconsin, Louisville and many, many others.

Jean-Noel visited Morgantown this weekend and reportedly loved what he saw and became the 2nd player of the day to commit for the Mountaineers. Earlier, Sam Hamilton, a three star tight end from Cincinnati, Ohio, committed to West Virginia University.

Although Jeffar Jean-Noel is not yet rated by major recruiting services, he is considered an under the radar recruit who will likely be very highly ranked when he is officially rated.  Last season at American Heritage High School, Jean-Noel had 34 receptions for 505 yards and 5 touchdowns during his sophomore year.

With Hamilton and Jean-Noel now committed, West Virginia is ranked #64 (according to 247 and Rivals).  Rich Rodriguez and his coaching staff have hosted several other recruits this weekend, so don’t be surprised to see more following Hamilton and Jean-Noel in the coming days.
