Former Mountaineer Charged With Robbery

David Vincent-Okoli, a former cornerback for the Mountaineers, has found himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately.

According to Alexandra Weaver of 12 WBOY, the Maryland native has been charged with first degree robbery following a criminal complaint that accused Vincent-Okoli of stealing an Audi.

The report states that the former 247Sports four-star prospect entered an apartment on Willey Street in Morgantown asking the residents for the keys to the vehicle. When they would not comply, Vincent-Okoli pulled a firearm on the residents. He was ultimately given the keys out of fear.

Vincent-Okoli was one of the highest rated recruits in WVU’s 2020 recruiting class before entering the transfer portal in 2021.
