Morgantown, West Virginia – Former West Virginia Mountaineers wide receiver Sam Brown has found a new home with a familiar face.
Brown, a freshman wide receiver, announced that he will transfer to play for Dana Holgorsen at the University of Houston.
Brown, a 6’2 Savannah, Georgia native, had 10 receptions for 108 yards in 9 games during his career at West Virginia and 2 receptions for 16 yards this season.
After showing real promise as a true freshman last season, Brown reportedly found himself in Neal Brown’s doghouse this season.
